The rules

1. At a skill's stratum cap you may Prestige it: level resets to the previous stratum's cap; the skill gains a Prestige mark (a strikethrough glyph on the skill icon: the Quill's register).
2. Each Prestige grants breadth: a second specialization slot (Rev 1), a third Trial reward choice (Rev 2), an extra Mastery Tree node (Rev 3), a Named variant of one technique (Rev 4). Never +%. Never above the floor's ilvl.
3. Prestiged skills earn XP 10% faster (they've been written before).
