Set bonuses that are player-driven: the "set" is the crafter.

The rules
Every crafter has a Maker's Mark (registered name, a glyph). Masterworks carry it; ordinary work carries it faintly.
Wearing 2 / 4 / 6 pieces in the same hand grants a set bonus that belongs to the crafter's specialization (a Pale Feller's hand: +Draft resistance; a Warden-Feller's: +part damage). Crafters become brands; a guild's raid team wears one smith.
Set bonuses are one additive category each; they never stack across hands.

There is more to this system than the rules above. Nobody has registered a discovery yet.
