Writings: Notes, Books, Maps, Manuals

Knowledge, maps, and scripts are items, so the meta itself is player-driven and tradable.

What you see

The rules

  1. Notes (Lore ≥ 10): a player writes a page (validated by the content pipeline's style guard for slurs and meta-leaks only; the style is the player's own). A Note can carry a Hidden Perk condition, a Line, a Combo, a Material Quality source, a recipe. Reading it teaches; the Note is consumed or kept by the author's choice (single-use or reference).
  2. Books (Lore ≥ 40): bound Notes; libraries in Holds; the Ledger cites Books.
  3. Maps (Cartography): a floor is fogged until charted; a Map reveals zones, nodes, Material Quality hints; Maps are consumed to update your map or kept to sell. Red zones' Maps show presence density last vesper.
  4. Manuals (Tactics): Scripts as items (bible §4.4); Manuals of discovered Combos and Overskills.

There is more to this system than the rules above. Nobody has registered a discovery yet.
